  1. Stop Using Instagram and Reopen It

To force close the Instagram app on your Android phone.

  • Go to the list of installed apps on your device. 
  • Long press on the Instagram app icon. 
  • Click on the option, Force stop, that you will see on the info page of the app.

  • Press the Home screen button two times or swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone screen. 
  • Wait for the appearance of the app switcher.
